Letter to Tony Fernandes

In facebook Tony fernandes founder and CEO of Airasia wrote that he wants the new route suggestions. so that i wrote this letter to him. i wrote and post as comment his blog. i did not get any response other than appoved my comment. But i like to share this letter with you.

Dear Mr. Tony Fernandes
I am Kularuban, from Sri Lanka studying Business studies in Malaysia. I hope you have enough time to read this. I have read your face book state, which want some suggestions for new route. I am writing this not for win free trips or anything like that. It is in mind for long time. I think this is the correct time to tell you.

You may heard about Jaffna in Sri Lanka. It is consider as second largest city in SL. Jaffna has more than 0.7 million population, all most everyone has relative out of Sri Lanka. Therefore, they like to go out Sri Lanka. Now days Air is the only way to access Jaffna. Since you ask, I like to suggest Jaffna to Trichy (india) route.

Jaffna has largest airport, but it is not international airport. However, it worked as international airport until early 80’s, which ran same Trichy – Jaffna route.
Let me give you some clarifications on this way about this route,

Why Jaffna?
01. Since Sri Lanka has only one international airport, they have to open new international airport. Obviously, Jaffna has bright opportunity to be international airport.
02. Almost every family have to go out to finish their work, air is the only accessing way now.
03. you don’t need to pay much airport texs, fares
04. there wouldn’t be any strong competitors
05. Since civil war is over, cultural, entertainments, tourism, educational activities are going to begin.

Why trichy?
01. Trichy always being as cultural contributor for Jaffna.
02. Many small businesspersons looking for sell their products. eg..dresses
03. Airport taxes, fares are low
04. It has some seasonal religious functions, which are attract Jaffna people.
05. Many Sri Lankan asylum seekers are living in Trichy.
06. More than 1.5 million Sri Lankan immigrants, who are living in Europe and Canada, choose Trichy and Chennai as their arriving place to replace Jaffna, due the security reasons. They for, they call their relatives from Jaffna to enjoy the holidays.

What would be the problems?
01. getting permission with government
02. government might use this idea to run their low cost “Mihin Lanka”

What would be the advantage?
01. Government is looking foreign investments. Therefore, they might encourage you.
02. There is big propaganda going on by minority to avoid the state own Mihin Lanka and Sri Lanka airlines. Air Asia could be alternative for this.
03. In Jaffna, there is no well maintaining hotel. So that, you can open tunes hotels too. Because demand for hotel in Jaffna getting high.

Let me step in

I have nothing to say anything about me. When Im saying, “I have nothing”, one of my friend words come to mind. He is always saying that “doesn’t discourage yourself, think you’re the best, actually you are…”

I feel I were the best some years before. Because, I had many dreams, I thought one day I would make those possible. However, life is not easy as I thought. It is getting bad day to day. Pressure on my daily life through my dreams far away from me. I have to spend all my time to manage my daily life. Hope is the only weapon now I have. What I facing now, all are my experience; It would help me one day.

I think I have variety of experiences, which are normally people are do not get easily. I do not born within gold spoon. However, I had a gold spoon for some years. Those are different experiences. After that, I had hard time in my life. I was in lived in such a hard environment. Honestly, I do not enjoy my teen-age life. I do not feel love with a any girl those time. Actually, I didn’t have Chance for it. Those affect are continue. Therefore, I am still virgin.

Life in India and Malaysia gave/giving me lot of experience. Which are, saying that you can have bulk of dreams, but you have to come from royal family or wealthy country. When I go the bed I think tomorrow might be my good day, but It won’t. Many people are saying that, money is not everything in life, actually it is. Happiness of life builds on your economical basement.

I think writing blog would be kind of way to relax myself.

Why blog?

This is one of my dreams to write in English. It is takes many years to do it. Still I am not sure how far my English grammatically correct. However, I just want to do it, in other word I have to do this. Because, it is more than 3 years I am keeping silence with my language. When I decided to shut down my mouth in my language, I thought I have to start in English. Now I feel the correct time come.

When I say writing in English, I do not mean just writing about some entertain or causal things. I want to write as what I did in my Tamil. Last years I had to practices English for two purposes. First, it is for my academicals purpose. Every semester whether I like no or not, I have to write more than 12000 words for my assignments. Other one is, I purposely put myself in practice. That is mean I have watched more than 150 English films within 8 months. In addition, I had read lot of articles base on my personal / academicals interest.

These are giving me some hope to write in English. I know whoever read this blog will give me some encouragement, suggestions, opinions for improve it.
